A cake range 21%, 18% and 15% protein inclusion rates.
This cake range is based upon higher levels of digestible fibre and lower levels of cereals. Therefore, it is complementary to high starch and sugar, low fibre diets such as maize silage. Also, it can aid in the buffering of high lactic acid silages; helping rumen function and prevention of lameness and low milk butterfat. A wide selection of quality protein sources are used in the fomulation of this ration for a sustained protein supply.
